The restaurant reopened – for the first time since lockdown - on Friday (October 16).

The new improvements include:

Bridgwater Mercury:

• A separate sweet counter

SPREAD OUT: New seating has been reduced to allow for social distancing

Kay Nicolaides and husband Matthew, owner of Brent House, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the end result.

“I think our customers will be amazed with what we have done to the place, and we will still be maintaining our fantastic quality food and friendly customer service as this is really important to us.

“We are so excited to show everyone the new Brent House and welcome our customers back.”

BRAND NEW: Seating area at Brent House

Due to the coronavirus crisis, Brent House will be limiting their seating to 130.

“With the impact of COVID and the Government guidelines put in place, we made the decision that the refurbishment needed to go ahead as we had to ensure that social distancing could be adhered to and we felt that our old layout would have made this very difficult,” Mrs Nicolaides added.

“We are very lucky at Brent House to have a good amount of floor space and this has allowed us to make these changes and we believe our customers will be able to enjoy a dining out experience that feels enjoyable but also safe.”
