There were NINE new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Somerset in the last 24 hours.

Somerset West and Taunton saw an increase of one new coronavirus case today (September 25).

And there were two new cases in Mendip, three new cases in South Somerset and three in Sedgemoor.

Across the UK, there were 6,874 new confirmed cases of Covid-19, which is 240 more positive results than were confirmed yesterday (September 24).
