MORE new positive Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Somerset in the latest 24-hour period - including four in one district.
Seven new cases were confirmed across three Somerset districts.
Four new cases were confirmed in the Mendip district, one was confirmed in Sedgemoor and two were confirmed in South Somerset.
Somerset West & Taunton was the only district in the county council area to record no new confirmed cases of the virus up to 5pm yesterday.
The county total of confirmed Covid-19 cases now stands at 1,500.
The district totals are Mendip 195; Sedgemoor 435; Somerset West & Taunton 489; and South Somerset 381.
