BRIDGWATER held its second Seed the Day vegan and eco-friendly market on Saturday.
The brainchild of Cllr Li Gibson, this year the market was relocated to the High Street and the Town Hall to better enable social distancing, with 30 stalls each set up two metres apart.
The sun shone and hundreds of people turned up to peruse and purchase the various environmentally-friendly products and produce on offer.
Cllr Kathy Pearce, deputy leader of Bridgwater Town Council, said: “I believe that this event put down an important marker for the future of Bridgwater town centre – drawing on its history as a market town but updating it with an important environmental and community focus.”
