TWO new Covid-19 positive tests have been recorded in Somerset during the latest 24-hour period.
The cases in the period to 5pm yesterday (Friday) were both in the Sedgemoor district.
It follows seven cases in the county council area reported by Public Health England in the previous 24-hour period.
It means there has been an overall total of 1,337 cases in Somerset.
The district totals stand at Mendip 140; Sedgemoor 400; Somerset West and Taunton 455; South Somerset 342.
There were again no new coronavirus-related deaths reported in the county, according to NHS England.
