POLICE in Oswestry have released an image of the aftermath of a serious road traffic collision (RTC) that happened in Oswestry on Friday.
The accident, which involved four vehicles, including two trucks, led to seven fire crews, police and an air ambulance being called out.
The image shows the damage done to a removals-type truck which appears to have crashed into the back of a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) during the accident which took place between Whittington and Mile End roundabouts shortly before 5pm.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team tweeted the picture out, with an officer saying: "This was the result of the RTC on Friday – keep and maintain your distance."
Details of any injuries suffered by those involved are yet-to-be announced.
