Caravan destroyed after fire near Winscombe
A CARAVAN was completely destroyed after a fire near Winscombe.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 3.37pm today (July 23) to reports of a caravan fire in Laneside in Star.
Fire crews from Cheddar and Burnham-on-Sea went to the scene.
"One caravan completely destroyed by fire," a fire service spokesperson said.
"Gas bottles removed prior to the arrival of the fire service.
"Remainder of caravan extinguished using one hose reel jet. The cause of the fire was accidental."
