TWO Bridgwater men took on a tough cycling challenge for charity this weekend.
Friends Antony Harwood and Jason Theobold braved the heat on Saturday, July 11, cycling 100 miles for their chosen cause.
The duo set off from outside The Cobblestones pub at 7am, travelling out to Glastonbury and then onto Wells, before venturing up to Weston-super-Mare and back to Bridgwater via Berrow and Burnham-on-Sea.
The pair chose to raise money for the Alzheimer's and Dementia charity, a cause close to both their hearts as Antony's mum lives with dementia in a nursing home in Ilminster, while Jason's grandad also suffered alzheimers and dementia.
To date Antony and Jason's have raised more than £1,300. To donate visit justgiving.com/fundraising/cyclefordementiastravachallenge-antonyharwood2020.
