ANYONE who hasn't been down Taunton's St James Street for a couple of weeks may be surprised at the view.
Work on the multi-million pound Coal Orchard development has continued apace.
The old swimming pool, which was knocked down towards the end of 2018, has been replaced by an impressive block for homes and work spaces.
And the metal framework of a number of other buildings has also been constructed.
The project will feature apartments, shops, offices, a gym and restaurants, as well as a plaza with a stepped terrace fronting onto the River Tone.
The first phase of the scheme is due for completion in September, while the whole project should be handed over next February.
