THERE were no new confirmed coronavirus cases and no deaths recorded in Somerset in the latest 24-hour period.
The figures released today by Public Health England relate to the period up to 5pm yesterday (Sunday).
It follows three consecutive days of one new cases being reported.
The latest new case means there have been a total of 794 confirmed cases of Covid-19 detected in the county.
Of those, 66 have been in Mendip; 222 in Sedgemoor; 308 in Somerset West and Taunton; and 198 in South Somerset.
