A NEW case of Covid-19 in Somerset was confirmed in figures released yesterday (Sunday).
While three of the districts were clear of recorded new cases, one was reported in the Somerset West and Taunton patch.
It followed four consecutive days when no new cases were reported by Public Health England.
The latest case means there have now been 790 in the area covered by the county council.
Overall there have been 65 confirmed cases in Mendip; 221 in Sedgemoor; 307 in Somerset West and Taunton; and 197 in South Somerset.
