Person freed from vehicle after crash in West Quantoxhead
A PERSON was freed from a vehicle by firefighters after a crash in West Quantoxhead.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to Luckes Lane, West Quantoxhead at 6.01pm on Thursday (May 21) to reports of a crash.
One fire engine from Williton and one from Minehead were sent to the scene.
On arrival crews confirmed that the incident involved two vehicles and that one person was trapped.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the door and release the trapped casualty.
Both vehicles were then made safe and the casualty was in the care of ambulance personnel.
