DESPITE pubs across the UK being closed during the coronavirus pandemic, a Wiveliscombe brewery is being bombarded with orders.

Exmoor Ales, based off Golden Hill, has been receiving home delivery requests for its beers from as far away as Scotland.

Managing director Jonathan Price is delighted with the demand, which has kept the firm going during lockdown.

As a thank you, Exmoor Ales is offering customers a ten per cent discount on all products, including gin, during May - just visit the Exmoor Ales website, place your order and type in ThankYou10 at the checkout.

A spokesman said: "Their bottled beers and draught beer 'polypins' travel well.

"I know that Jonathan has been astounded with the demand since lockdown, not just in the South West close to the brewery, but Wales, Scotland and nationwide.

"The new influx of direct-to-consumer traffic has kept them going since the pubs shut."
