INCIDENT: Police say the death is being treated as 'unexplained but not suspicious'
A MAN has died from injuries sustained in a car fire in Somerset.
Emergency services were called to Back River Drove in Glastonbury at about 6pm on Thursday (May 14).
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Sadly, a man was found inside the car and despite the efforts of paramedics, he died from his injuries.
"His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
"We’ve notified his family and are supporting them at this very difficult time."
Police are continuing to make further enquiries on behalf of the coroner's office.
