CALL OUT: Crews were called to Chapel Road in Pawlett
FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a van which had caught fire in a village near Bridgwater last night (Tuesday, May 12).
Fire crews from Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea were called to Chapel Road near Pawlett at 8.35pm yesterday evening.
On arrival the crews found the van well alight and the fire also involved a large wood store.
The firefighters managed to swiftly douse the blaze, but the van and wood store both suffered significant damage from the fire.
