PUBLIC Health England has revealed the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in each district in Somerset.
The figures relate to the 24-hour period up to 5pm yesterday (Monday).
A total of 216 have been logged in Somerset West and Taunton, an increase of two on the previous day; 155 in Sedgemoor (up one); 155 (a rise of six) in South Somerset; and 57 in Mendip (an additional five).
There have been 60 deaths in the county from Covid-19.
The total across the UK now stands at 226,463, while a total of Covid-19 related 32,692 deaths has been recorded in hospitals, care homes and the community.
The total number of cases in the four nations stand at 137,940 in England, with 29,260 deaths; 13,763 in Scotland (1,862); 11,573 in Wales (1,132); and 4,193 in Northern Ireland (438).
Of the individual nations, England has recorded 136,873 cases, Scotland 13,627, Wales 11,468 and Northern Ireland 4,149.
