FOUR men have been arrested after a police raid in Latchford in the early hours of this morning.

Officers executed a search warrant at a property on Banks Crescent earlier today, Thursday.

And a quartet of suspects from the Warrington area, aged between 18 and 22, were detained at the scene on suspicion of firearms offences.

They remain in custody this afternoon, with Cheshire Police officers having remained at the scene throughout the day.

A force spokesman said: “In the early hours of Thursday, April 9, officers executed a warrant at an address on Banks Crescent in Latchford.

“Four men, aged 18, 19, 20 and 22, all from the Warrington area have been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.”
