TAUNTON Fire Station has published photos of a massive lorry fire near Taunton this week.
Crews were called Taunton Deane Services on the M5 southbound at 9.15pm on Monday.
Three fire engines, an environmental protection unit and a water carrier were mobilised to the incident.
The tanker trailer containing 38,000 litres of liquid nitrogen was well alight and three more fire engines were summoned for additional personnel and water.
After extinguishing the fire, firefighters stayed on the scene to monitor the trailer and for perimeter cooling, and made the area and the LGV safe.
Police also attended to set up a cordon and the sliproad to the services was closed for a period.
