THE organisers of the cancelled Glastonbury Festival have handed over protective items to the emergency services and NHS staff.
This summer's event at Worthy Farm was called off due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Michael and Emily Eavis were left with thousands of litres of hand sanitiser, gloves and face masks due to be used at the musical event.
They have put them to good use by donating them to the Avon and Somerset Local Resilience Forum.
They will provide protection for frontline emergency service workers and NHS staff.
