COMEDIAN, impressionist and star of BBC Radio 4’s Dead Ringer’s Jon Culshaw, accompanied by legendary comedy producer and author Bill Dare, are coming to Bridgwater next month.

Join The McMillan Theatre for an evening of unscripted, spontaneous comedy and conversation as politicians, sports personalities and celebrities are all up for a roasting.

Jon reveals the secrets of mimicry, and together with Bill he also reveals some of the mishaps and mayhem of life behind the scenes in television and on the celebrity circuit. The Great British Take Off is topical, satirical, anecdotal and highly entertaining; it is never the same show twice.

Over the last couple of decades, Jon Culshaw has established himself as one of Britain’s best impressionists with an unmatched versatility and a catalogue of over 350 voices and impersonations including Boris Johnson, Donald Trump, Michael Gove, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Michael McIntyre, Alan Carr, Professor Brian Cox, John Bishop, Will I Am, Andy Murray, Paul O’Grady and more. He is the inimitable master of comedic guise.

His own series The Impressionable Jon Culshaw was broadcast on ITV1 and he has received rave reviews for the BBC 2 TV series Dead Ringers. On television this programme has won the Best Political Satire Award at the Political Studies Association Awards 2004 and on radio it has won the British Comedy Award for Best Radio Comedy, the Sony Gold Radio Academy Award and the Broadcasting Press Guild Award for Best Radio Programme. The show is also the winner of the British Comedy Guide Best Radio Sketch Show for the last three years running.

Jon Culshaw will be at The McMillan Theatre in Bridgwater on March 27 at 7:30pm.
