A MAN has been charged in connection with an alleged incident of shoplifting in Breightmet.
Barry Griffin, aged 38, of no fixed abode, has been charged with the offence.
It comes after reports of an alleged incident of shoplifting at the Aldi superstore in Breightmet Fold Lane on February 10.
Griffin was also wanted by police for breach of a court order, officers say.
He has since been remanded in custody and will appear at Bolton Magistrates court tomorrow (February 24).
