FIREFIGHTERS helped to rescue a woman and her two dogs escape after her campervan crashed into a ditch.
The crews were called out to Butleigh Road in Street at 2.19pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday, February 20).
Firefighters from Wells, Street and Glastonbury attended the scene and on arrival found the campervan had turned over into a ditch and there was still a female casualty and her two dogs inside.
The crew managed to rescue the woman and her two dogs and left the incident in the hands of police and ambulance.
