A CYCLIST who was killed in a crash involving a bus has been identified.
The tragic incident took place at around 5.40pm yesterday evening (January 20) in Stockland Bristol, a village near Bridgwater.
Initially, the identity of the cyclist who sadly died was not known.
After an appeal, it has been discovered he was a man in his 50s from the Bridgwater area.

Avon and Somerset Police is asking for witnesses to come forward to help with the investigation.
A spokesperson said: "The incident happened on a minor road at Robbery Wood near Stockland Bristol at about 5.40pm.
"A cyclist was in collision with a bus.
"The cyclist received treatment at the scene but sadly died shortly afterwards.
"If you can help please call us on 101 quoting reference 5220015515."
The bus involved in the incident was a Hinkley Point C vehicle.
A spokesperson said it will be working with the police during the investigation.
On 20 January, one of the buses that serves the HPC Project was involved in a serious incident with a cyclist on the C182 near Stockland Bristol.
