A BRIDGWATER man has helped raised more than £1,500 for St Margaret’s Hospice in memory of his father.
On Thursday, December 12, Jack Coles visited St Margaret’s Hospice in Taunton to present a cheque to Kara Frampton, community fundraiser with St Margaret’s.
Jack ran Bristol Half Marathon in memory of his Dad, who was cared for at St Margaret’s Hospice.
This was Jack’s first ever Half Marathon and he raised this tremendous amount of sponsorship money through the support from his family, friends and his local village and community.
Ms Frampton said: “Thank you so much to everyone who supported Jack and his family in order for him to exceed his fundraising target of £1,000.
“And thank you to Jack - we cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciate your help in raising vital funds for our hospice.”
