A FOOTBRIDGE that has been closed this week for repairs has re-opened today (Friday).
The rotting soft wood deck timbers of the Marshalsea Walk footbridge have been replaced with longer lasting oak beams.
The bridge, leading to the Tesco superstore from the French Weir and Tangier areas, had been closed since Monday.
The work was carried out by Crestmoor Construction on behalf of Somerset County Council.
