A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of theft in Bridgwater.
It follows complaints of a number of attempted burglaries in the Hamp Estate area of the town.
The man was arrested after being spotted trying to break into a parked car in the Dukes Mead area.
After the arrest of the suspect – a man in his 20s – officers recovered two bikes and are keen to contact the owners.
They are asking people to check garden sheds and outbuildings to check if they are missing a bike.
The recovered bikes are pictured above.
If you think one of the bikes belongs to you,contact the police on 101, and give the call handler the reference 5219/273079 with proof of identity (eg frame number) or proof of purchase.
