A MAN has sadly died after a 'medical incident' in Chard.
Emergency services were called to Crewkerne Road in Chard at around 11.30am today (November 21) following reports of a medical incident.
South Western Ambulance Service sent various resources to the scene including land ambulances, an air ambulance crews and a critical care team but despite their best efforts a man died.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police, said his death is not being treated as suspicious.
"Police attended to support the ambulance service with a medical incident in Crewkerne Road, Chard, just before 11.40am on Thursday, November 21," the spokesperson added.
"Sadly the man died. The death is not being treated as suspicious and officers are making enquiries on behalf of the coroner."
