BRIDGWATER’S annual Snowflakes and Shopping Christmas spectacular will be lighting up the town for the festive period this Friday (November 22).
Bridgwater’s annual Christmas lights switch-on often puts other Somerset towns to shame, with lots of activity and excitement planned to mark the occasion.
There will be street food stalls in Angel Place and in the High Street, as well as fairground rides and various other entertainment from 4pm.
At 5.30pm there will be the lantern parade, with the big light switch-on and fireworks set for Cornhill at 6pm.
The celebration will be rounded off by a spectacular display of squibbing on the town bridge at 7pm.
The event is organised by the Bridgwater Town Team
For information about the event visit the Snowflakes and Shopping Facebook page.
