SUPPORT: The match raised £2,500 for charity
A BRIDGWATER Town XI played a team from Mind in Somerset on Sunday (6th October), raising £2,500.
Bridgwater won 9-4 in front of 150 supporters and the event exceeded its target by £500.
Organiser and captain of the Mind team, Anthony Pruvedenti said: “It was a fantastic game, played in a good spirit for an excellent cause.
“I know my dear mother would have been proud, looking down on me.”
