A DRIVE-THRU KFC could be coming to Taunton.

The County Town features on a list of areas targeted for expansion revealed by the fast-food giant.

Currently, KFC has a store in the town centre, but no drive-thru option for Tauntonians.

Taunton appears in the list along with Bridgwater, which also has a town store and is earmarked as a location for a drive-thru.

Takeaway fans in Taunton can currently take advantage of drive-thru facilities at Hankridge for McDonald's and Costa - but not KFC.

The list reveals ambitious plans for 500 new sites for KFC across the country.

Other south west locations on the list include Falmouth and Midsomer Norton.
