SOMERSET Art Weeks start this weekend with a wealth of local events taking place in Burnham-on-Sea.

George Foweraker will be displaying his collection of artistic woodturnings, paintings and needlework in two galleries at 7 Rectory Drive in Burnahm-on-Sea.

A collection of work by Bill Lander will be at 136 Berrow Road in Burnham-on-Sea, with his oil paintings of landscapes, portraits and animals.

Nick Fraser: A load of old scrap will be on display for Somerset Art Weeks. Nick is a self-taught sculptor who works with scrap metal and creates sculptures of any size - from as small as a snail to a full grown man. Nick will be at The Old School Room in Woolavington from 10am until 5pm each day.

Studio Woolavington Art Group will be exhibiting an exciting range of work with their teacher, Angela Watson, who’s work reflects the vibracy of the natural world in oil, acrylic, mixed media and cyanotype.
