BURNHAM-ON-SEA Harriers have been helping out a worthwhile Bridgwater cause.
The BOS Harriers set up the Pawlett Plod 10k event in 2017 so that they could raise funds for a chosen charity or non-profit organisation each year.
This year they have chosen Bridgwater’s Rusty Road 2 Recovery, a non-profit organisation which helps people suffering with mental health challenges to restore classic cars as part of a team.
Mark Benton from BOS Harriers said: “We are very pleased to say this year’s event raised £1,120 for Rusty Road 2 Recovery.”
The cheque was presented to Vince Davis from Rusty Road 2 Recovery by the BOS Harriers at Saturday’s Park Run in Burnham’s Apex Park.
Mr Davis said: “This is a great gift and will really help us with our work. I would like to thank the BOS Harriers for their support.”
