HUNDREDS of people took on an impressive test of endurance by tackling the Bridgwater Half Marathon on Sunday (September 1).
The sun shone and it made for good racing conditions as the runners set off from the Bridgwater Morganians Rugby Club.
The half marathon runners made their way from the rugby club out toward Chedzoy, then heading out to Stawell before looping back round through Sutton Mallet and back to the rugby club.
As well as the main Bridgwater Half Marathon, the event also included a 10k race and a 5k fun run and meant there was a huge range of ages able to participate.
Photographer Les Pickersgill was out snapping pictures of the event.
