THE main entrance to Taunton train station has reopened after the main doors were damaged in what is believed to be a ram raid.

Staff at the train station, which is based just off Station Road in Taunton, closed off the main entrance on Saturday morning (August 24) as the doors had been smashed and damaged by vandals.

A member of staff at Taunton station claims the station entrance was ram raided.
