THE Zoots return to the town where they performed their first ever concert ten years ago.

They are coming to Minehead with their Sounds of the 60s Show this September.

Since performing in Minehead back in 2009, The Zoots have performed over 1000 concerts, toured 35 countries and released four albums.

The 60’s themed band consist of five multi-instrumentalists and singers who all take to the mic to sing lead vocals.

The Sounds of the 60’s Show features The Zoots performing greatest hits from the 60’s including: The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Shadows, Searchers, Stones, Kinks, Small Faces, Elvis and more.

Jamie Goddard, lead singer and band leader, said: “It’s going to be amazing to come back to where it all began. Our first residency was at Centre Stage in Minehead which formed the basis of the band in the early days.

“The Zoots also performed regularly for events and weddings at St Audries Park, Dunster and Quantock Lakes so we used to stay as long as we could, go to the beach and go into town.

“We would gaze up at The Regal Theatre and say to ourselves, one day we will be playing there. And now here we are!”
