FOUR people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on a Somerset road last night (Friday).
Firefighters had to cut free from one of the vehicles one of the victims, a man.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Main Street, Walton, near Street, at 10.10pm.
Paramedics at the scene advised fire crews to extricate the trapped man from his vehicle "due to his condition".
Paramedics treated four other victims at the scene.
The fire crews made the two vehicles safe, while four of the casualties were conveyed to hospital by land ambulance.
