THE glorious sounds of Russian choral music are coming to Cannington this September.
The Nikolsky Ensemble are from Sartatov on the banks of the Volga River.
They will be bringing their a cappella repertoire of sacred and folk music to St Mary’s Church in Cannington.
The all male choir has performed throughout Europe and are highly praised for their excellent concerts and for bringing Russian musical heritage to a larger audience.
Reverend Alison Waters, Rector of Cannington, said: “The Nikolsky Ensemble last sang at St Mary’s Church ten years ago and we are looking forward to another soul-stirring evening of beautiful music.”
The Nikolsky Ensemble are performing at St Mary’s Church in Cannington at 7pm on Tuesday, September 24. Tickets for the concert cost £10.00 and are in aid of church funds. Refreshments will be served.
