WET weather failed to dampen the spirits of residents as they turned out in force to enjoy Othery Street Fayre.
On Saturday (June 15) local producers and stallholders from across Somerset packed into the St Michael’s Church in Othery and showed off their produce to visitors.
Stalls selling handmade jewellery, jams and preserves, clothes and carved wood gifts were at the event.
Anita Winslade, organiser of the event, said: “Despite the wet weather we had a steady flow of people attending throughout the day.
“Some of the stallholders were so impressed with the event they have already booked their place for next year which is fantastic.”
