RAIN failed to dampen spirits at Bridgwater Docks Gala 2019.

Stallholders came out in force bringing life to Bridgwater Docks with lots of activities on for all the family.

Organiser Pat Robinson said: “The rain didn’t help but the event went smoothly and more people came down when the sun came out.

“The stallholders made were in good spirits and made some money, and visitors had a good time looking around and taking part in the activities.

Bridgwater mayor Cllr Tony Heywood headed down to the Docks and enjoyed a boat ride.

Volunteers from the local branch of the IWA supported the event carrying out litter picks and weeding ahead of the gala.
