INCREDIBLE athletes will be going head to head tomorrow night in a battle for a prestigious trophy.

Yes, that's right - its the final episode of Ninja Warrior UK 2019.

And what better way to warm up for tomorrow's Champions League Final than by watching Bridgwater's Jacob Peregrine-Wheller compete in the final of Ninja Warrior UK on ITV at 6.30pm?

Jacob, who runs his own parkour school, has run, jumped, climbed and pulled his way over and around dozens of draconian obstacles over the past few weeks to make it to the final.

This is the second time Jacob has made it to the final, having come close to taking home the trophy two years ago.

"As I've trained harder and smarter than ever before, I feel that getting to the final was easier than two years ago," Jacob says.

"So much so that I have finished some of the courses with strength to spare and would even like to run the course again, straight away!

"I've played on the course in every round so far, but in the final, it is time to be more cautious with my strength and endurance, and focus on getting through as efficiently as possible."

Jacob says he hopes his playful attitude inspires others to take up parkour and keep active.

"If your fitness isn't enjoyable, it isn't going to last," Jacob says.

"Whatever happens in the final, I already feel like I've won by having an awesome time.

"I'll leave with new friendships with the other finalists.

"We talk regularly with training tips, share dates that we inspire including school visits and organising trips to the ninja gyms that England has to offer such as Swindon, Liverpool, Milton Keynes and London."

You can see Jacob in action in the final on ITV on Saturday night (June 1) at 6.30pm.
