TAUNTON Town defender Lewis Hall has agreed to remain at the Viridor Stadium for the 2019/20 season.
Hall joined the Peacocks from National League North side Hereford in October 2018, and went on to dislodge Nuno Felix as the regular left-back/left wing-back in the Taunton line-up.
Hall went on to make 29 appearances in total in the 2018/19 season, and scored five goals – two of those coming in November's pulsating 4-3 win at home to promotion rivals Salisbury.
He told the club website: “Since I joined Taunton at the back end of last year I’ve loved every minute of my time here.
"I’m already looking forward to seeing what we can do next season and I’m delighted to have the chance to be a part of hopefully something special.”
And a busy day off the field at the Viridor Stadium continued with the news that Kevin Hurd has been recruited as goalkeeping coach.
With Paul Edwards unable to fulfil the job full-time this season, due to other commitments, Hurd has joined Rob Dray's backroom staff to help number one Lloyd Irish and his fellow keepers at the club.
Hurd's previous clubs include Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater Town and Street.
