BROOK Food Processing Equipment are now three months in to their 25th anniversary year celebrations where the Williton based-company pledged to support 12 charities throughout 2019.
Having supported both St Margaret’s Hospice and Mind Somerset, Brook Food looked to support another locally based charity and with that in mind chose the RNLI.
Brook Food are donating £25 for every customer order of £1,000 and over and March saw a bumper month which resulted in a fantastic total of £1,925, Brook Foods highest donation to date yet.
Marketing director Ann Wells, who presented the cheque to the Minehead RNLI crew, said: “To donate to our local RNLI is a pleasure, it’s the selfless actions of those involved with the service that represents true heroism and to support this with funds to help their work an honour
RNLI Minehead spokesman Bryan Stoner said: “Our lifeboat house was built in 1901 and although modified several times is in dire need of an extensive rebuild.
"This donation will go towards the costs of such a rebuild over the next couple of years."
