STAYING: The Shoe Zone in Fore Street is staying - despite plans for the company to open a second larger store at Bridgwater retail park
BRIDGWATER is set to get a brand new ‘big box’ Shoe Zone store at the Bridgwater retail park.
The new store will offer a wide range of own-brand and third party branded products and has put out job advertisements for roles at the new store.
A spokesperson for Shoe Zone confirmed that the existing store in the town centre would not be closing.
“We are happy to confirm that Shoe Zone is planning to open a Big Box, this Spring, at the Bridgwater retail park,” the spokesman said.
“Shoe Zone is also staying in town at 40 Fore Street, and has just signed a 5 year lease there.”
