WITNESSES are being sought after a woman died following a fatal crash in Nether Stowey.
The crash happened at about 6.50pm on Saturday (March 16) on the A39 at Nether Stowey.
A woman pedestrian was in collision with a car.
Despite receiving treatment at the scene the woman sadly died shortly afterwards.
The road was closed to allow collision investigators to carry out an examination.
It was re-opened shortly after 11.30pm.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision who may have information to help our enquiries.
