MICKEY Mouse, Cinderella, witches and cavemen were among pupils at Westonzoyland Primary School this week in 1999.
But the school had not been overrun by fictional and historical characters, it was a special fancy dress day as part of national Book Week.
Headteacher, David Gibb, said it had been a big success.
"The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I hope that they will now be stimulated to read more books."
