BRIDGWATER Retail Park's latest addition opened this weekend as the new Home Bargains store welcomed customers for the first time.
The store opened on Saturday, following an £800,000 investment, creating around 40 jobs overall.
The new Bridgwater store joins 500 other outlets across the UK.
Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching our first store in Bridgwater and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors.”
The 20,000 sq ft store, which is adjacent to Lidl, Sainsburys, Next and Argos, will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food.
