A MAN has been arrested and released under investigation after a van crashed into a roundabout and then collided with a parked car in Bridgwater.
On Sunday (January 13) police were called to Coleridge Green, Bridgwater at around midnight following reports of a collision.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, driving without insurance and possession of controlled drugs. He has been released under investigation.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We attended Coleridge Green in Bridgwater at just after midnight today after a van was in collision with a roundabout and then a parked vehicle.
"A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle, possessing controlled drugs and driving without insurance.
"He has been released under investigation for enquiries to continue."
