SEDGEMOOR was still at risk of further flooding as rivers remained high after rainfall in 2014, the Environment Agency said.
Ongoing river flooding was expected on the Somerset Levels and people were urged to stay away from promenades and jetties in coastal areas.
At the time the Mercury went to press that week 47 amber flood alerts, 32 flood warnings and one severe flood warning were in place for the South West.
