THREE months after neighbours dumped the contents of their house into the garden leading to a mice infestation in Chevaugn Povey’s home, the mess has been cleared.
As reported in last week’s Bridgwater Mercury, Chevaugn Povey of Wadham Close was at her wits end after Sanctuary Housing had failed to clear mess left by tenants who had left the property and dumped sofas, CDs and video games, waste, a bed and more in the garden.
She said since the contents of the home had been strewn across the backyard she had found a number of mice in her home.
Sanctuary Housing officers have now stepped in and cleared the mess in the garden and will be bringing in specialist pest control in to help Ms Povey with her mice problem.
Ms Povey said she was pleased to see action finally being taken.
