A 23-YEAR-OLD man was robbed on Friday while walking on a canal path newar Bridgwater.

The man was walking on the path near Broadway towards Wembdon, close to the Morrisons store, at about 7am on Friday, December 14 when he was approached by two men on bikes.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "One of the men grabbed the victim and threw him on the floor before the second man threatened him with a knife.

"The offenders took the victim’s wallet and heading off towards Taunton Road.

"The first offender was wearing a black hooded top with the hood over his face. He was about 5ft 6ins to 5ft 7ins, of skinny build, in his mid-twenties and possibly riding a dark coloured BMX.

"The second offender was wearing a similar hooded top, was around the same height, also skinny and riding a small dark coloured BMX."
